Para realizar su pesquisa, Kropotkin centr\u00f3 su investigaci\u00f3n en el acervo documental del Museo Brit\u00e1nico, con lo que no pudo consultar la totalidad de las fuentes disponibles en otros archivos. Sin embargo, la lectura de esta obra sigue siendo estimulante al d\u00eda de hoy y puede realizar aportes importantes tanto a los interesados por conocer la historia de la Revoluci\u00f3n Francesa como a aquellos que busquen profundizar en el pensamiento del anarquista ruso.
